They all do one day in port, most coming out of Port Canaveral go to Nassau and the ships coming out of Ft. Lauderdale go to Freeport. I have heard Nassau is a better area than Freeport. A second ship, Victory II, is undergoing renovations for a June 2014 start date out of Jacksonville.

Went on the cruis for the first time. It was very enjoyable, the buffet was what it said it would be. I was very impressed with the fact that they kept the buffet filled with a variety of deli foods. The entertainment was very good and there was something for everyone. I was a little disappointed that the slots were mostly quarters and very few nickels. We went for the day cruise and I felt it was worth the drive down and back. Thanks Sterling, you have a wonderful ship.

Sure I wasn’t a winner, but we had a good time, all the works, very friendly. The woman that entertained as Reba, just great. You would have had a hard time telling me she wasn’t Reba.
Sterling Casino Cruise 'Not as Sterling as it pretends'

Me and my wife were quite excited about the idea of going on a short cruise with entertainment, dance and gambling. We had looked at the brochure which made the cruise look pretty good. We were however fairly disappointed. We expected a nice dressed up evening with good food and maybe dancing.
The dance floor is not bigger that a 10 feet in diameter or less. It is not an upscale cruise. You can wear jeans and t-shirt and you will not be underdressed. Food was a bun with lunch meat, chips, cooked eggs, and pickles.
Although the entertainment was not exciting, the entertainers were quite good; mostly music and singers/impressionists.
The casino had what you expected in most casinos but no Texas hold hem tables.
If you are a blackjack player, you don't have not too many choices but it is adequate. If you planned on playing some type of table games, you should put your ticket on the table of your choice as soon as you get in the boat as people select their seats prior to when gambling will start.
You can not gamble until the cruise is out of Florida State waters which takes about an hour or slightly less. Same thing when you get back to the port.
I'm a serious blackjack player. On the blackjack sides of things, the dealers are fast and there is no mid-shoe entry. This latter rule is somewhat highly unusual where even if you are sitting at the table and have being playing on that shoe, if you don't wan t to bet for one hand, you can not play that shoe again. You have to wait for the next shoe. That was quite upsetting for numerous players. Also the pit bosses are not consistent in applying their own rules, neither are the dealers. The pit boss allowed some high roller player to get back in mid-shoe. The pit bosses are also more concerned with high rollers than small card counters like me.
Overall, if you want a not upscale outing for free with a small cruise ride, and plan mostly on a few drinks and gambling, you will enjoy. However, if you plan on an upscale date, dancing, gambling, and good food, you will be disappointed.

SunCruz Casinos was one of many cruise lines that offered 'cruises to nowhere,' legally transporting passengers into international waters beyond the reach of federal and state gambling laws.
Four ships operated out of four ports including Jacksonville (SunCruz VII), Key Largo (SunCruz I), Myrtle Beach (SunCruz VIII), and Port Canaveral (SunCruz XII).[1]
On December 16, 2009, SunCruz Casinos was reported to be closing amid reports of owing $300,000 to the Canaveral Port Authority.[2] Parent company Ocean Casino Cruises filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy December 28.[3]
At the time of the filing of bankruptcy, there were about 300 full-time and part-time employees.[4]

In 1994 Gus Boulis, already a multi-millionaire by founding the Miami Subs sandwich shop franchise, bought a number of luxury yachts. He remodeled the yachts as casinos, and began to operate his 'cruises to nowhere,' sailing three miles from the Florida coast into what was then considered international waters.[5] There, out on the sea, passengers would gamble on poker, blackjack and slot machines. Boulis called his fleet of 11 ships the SunCruz Casino line. By the time he sold the company in 2000, SunCruz Casinos was earning tens of millions of dollars in annual profits, and employed over 2,000 people.
In September 2007, SunCruz discontinued operation at Palm Beach.[6] Service was subsequently discontinued at Daytona and Treasure Island.

In the 2000s, lobbyists such as Jack Abramoff became involved illegally with the sale of the line. Boulis was murdered in 2001.
